This will be Anna Rheinecker’s fist year as the head coach for CAK. Anna has swam for 16 years in various setting and states. Most recently, Anna swam at Milligan University in Johnson City, TN. She specialized in the 500 and mile in college after being a sprinter all through high school. Anna was a scholar athlete and all American swimmer during her career. Her biggest highlight from college was being able to compete in the NAIA National Championships at the University of UT each year. Most recently, Anna has been teaching swim lessons at the local YMCA to stay connected to the pool. Anna graduated from Milligan in 2022 with a Masters degree in Education. She teaches 5th grade science and social studies at CAK. Anna is so excited for the upcoming season, and even more excited to see all the growth the swimmers will make during the 2025-2026 season. Go Warriors!
Coach Laura Estrada is in her 7th straight year of coaching middle and high school swimming. She spent the last 6 years as the head coach at Webb, and she’s excited to be back at CAK as she was the assistant coach from 2008-10.
Laura swam at the University of Tennessee from 2006–2008, where she specialized in middle-distance freestyle. Her college career was cut short by a shoulder injury, but swimming has always been a huge part of her life. Laura grew up swimming in Cincinnati, Ohio and in high school, she was an All-American and loved being a “utility swimmer,” willing to jump in wherever her team needed her most. She was lucky enough to swim with her sister Megan at Tennessee who was a senior when Laura was a freshman.
Outside of coaching Laura is a registered nurse, and mom to Keegan (6th) and Keira (6th) who currently attend CAK.
